Alan Jackson has sold his Nashville mansion estate for a whopping $19million.
The Jackson family – the Alan and Denise version – listed the property in October last year with an initial asking price of $23m. The sale of the 5-bedroom, 8-bathroom mansion in the suburb of Franklin, Tennessee, was completed on 10 March 2021 for the reduced price of just $19m.
And just in case you were looking at affordability, that’s around $82,000 (almost £60,000) per month in repayments.
The listing was placed with French King Fine Properties, who described the premises as a “monumental stone residence”. Designed by architect Ron Farris, it features suites as bedrooms, arched doorways, oversized windows and jaw-dropping woodwork finishes. Bonus rooms include a bar, media room and multiple indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
Outside, there’s a pool, pool house, terraced lawns, kitchen, firepit, and a climate-controlled garage that holds up to 15 cars. That’s one for every morning of the week, one for every afternoon, and a spare in case of breakdown.
In terms of views, over 4 acres overlooking the Tennessee countryside, all surrounded by 120 acres of green space. Naturally the gated property is nestled inside the private Laurelbrooke community, which has its own separate gates, guarded around the clock.
The couple aren’t new to the luxury home market either; they previously lived in an 18,000 square foot mansion modeled after Tara in Gone With The Wind (sold for $28m in 2010) and a spectacular lakefront mansion in Georgia (listed for sale at $6.4m in 2017).
