host of Memory Lane 90s
Louise Gookey is a TV and radio presenter, reporter and journalist. When she’s not in front of the camera or behind a mic, she’s at a desk writing stories for The Sun newspaper.
For the last seven years, Louise has been chatting, hanging out and having a giggle with everyone from pop stars like Ashley Roberts to footballing legends like Jermaine Pennant, and not forgetting entrepreneurs and local heroes.
She has presented for the likes of Spotlight TV, Showcase TV, Property TV, and hosted award shows including The National Film Awards, World Fashion Awards, Digital Education Awards and the National Reality TV Awards. On the radio, she has worked as a contributor for stations including BBC London, LBC, Talk Radio and Love Sport Radio, and had her own shows on Juice FM, Radio Jackie, Vibe FM and Rathergood Radio, to name just a few.
Louise has presented for a long list of great brands including Boots, Braun, Argos, Vax, Skinny Tan, Hoover, Cannon, Just Eat and British Gypsum. And she’s also graced the stage at some really exciting events like the Ideal Home Show and National Pet Show.
Louise brings a great sense of positivity to everything she does. She loves to talk about difficult or taboo subjects, and does that on her new online panel show called ‘The Big Question’ which explores the responsibilities influencers and social media have on society.
She also has a podcast called ‘That’s Embarrassing’ which looks at the challenges and expectations of adulthood – and is the only podcast to have been Talk Radio’s podcast of the week twice.
She works closely with charities such as Diabetes.co.uk and the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and is passionate about environmental issues. She is currently developing an online platform looking at ways we can live a more sustainable life.
