Keith Urban and Mickey Guton have been revealed as the hosts of this year’s ACM awards.

The 56th annual ceremony is due to take place on 18 April 2021, and Urban’s role marks a return for the Aussie who hosted the pandemic-postponed event in 2020.

Revealing the news in a post on social media, Urban wrote: “Thrilled to be back hosting the @acmawards for a second year!!! And you know I love a good collaboration… @mickeyguton, what do you say?”

Guyon, who gave birth to her first son Grayson last month, subsequently shared the video to her own Instagram account, adding: “What is my life right now?! Thank you @keithurban and I cannot wait to join you as co-host…”

The ceremony, which honours the very best in country music, will air from three Nashville locations: the Grand Ole Opry House, Ryman Auditorium and Bluebird Cafe.

Last month, we reported on the confirmed nominees in what became a history-making list.
